Make the most of your Festival and Learning Experience

Here are some tips to make the most of your festival experience:

  • Be sure to check the festival website so you are aware of any special conditions. Many festivals have specific limitations on what size bags and items can be taken into the venue, so make sure you are aware of those.
  • Be aware of entrance requirements. Even free events may require an advance registration.
  • Stay hydrated! In the excitement of a music festival, it’s easy to forget to drink enough water.
  • If you’re going to expose your hearing to any of the louder styles of music, consider wearing specially designed ear filters that protect your hearing while still allowing you to feel the intensity. These are easily available on on-line shopping platforms and most music supply stores.
  • Consider using public transportation or ride-sharing apps so you can arrive at the festival relaxed and ready to enjoy the event.
  • Create a profile on a language-learning exchange app such as Tandem, Speaky, or HelloTalk. Include your summer music festival plans in your profile, so you can have someone to share the fun with when you arrive.

You’ll create a memorable summer when you combine any of these awesome summer music festivals with English language learning.
