The hotel features beautiful modern rooms, free continental breakfast, a Starbucks, pool, business and fitness centers, full service spa, and the Deco Blue Restaurant & Bar, among other offerings. This is really the best South of Fifth hotel.

Catalina Hotel & Beach Club

The Catalina Hotel & Beach Club is one of the best kept secrets in Miami Beach. This gem is truly one of the best hotels in South Beach Miami because of its very fun atmosphere.  The hotel has a rooftop terrace and two restaurants that are always full of young and beautiful people. There are two pools, a Zen garden, and four bars! You also have access to bike rentals and beach chairs. There are 190 guest rooms that are priced for all budgets. All the rooms regardless of price have Tempur-pedic mattresses and bathrobes. If you are visiting Miami Beach to party and have a great time, this hotel is a perfect choice.

Mondrian South Beach

Sometimes when people think about South Beach hotels they think about hotels on Ocean Drive or Collins Ave.  However, on the west side of this vibrant city there is the Mondrian South Beach. This hotel is located on the Biscayne Bay and does a good job representing the sleek, edgy, and sexy vibe of South Beach.  The Mondrian has a very interesting decor; it can be described as Sleeping Beauty’s Castle in more modern times. There is a “floating” staircase and floor-to-ceiling windows with amazing views of the bay. This decor carries into the rooms that are also very beautiful. Even though the hotel is beautiful, one of its main features is the pool which has become a top social scene in Miami. Very few South Beach Miami hotels have such a popular pool. The Essex House is one of the least known Miami South Beach hotels however it’s one of the best. This award winning hotel has 70 rooms and 14 beautiful suites that all have Art Deco inspired design. They also provide complimentary continental breakfast, happy hours, and grants access to the famous Clevelander bar on Ocean Drive. It’s located right by the beach and is walking distance to popular bars and great restaurants.

The Raleigh Miami Beach

The Raleigh is one of Miami Beach’s most iconic hotels. This historic property was built in 1941 and has become one of the most recognized and celebrated hotels in South Beach. There are many things to admire and enjoy about The Raleigh including the vintage Art Deco Design, Martini Bar, and the Babalu pop-up designer boutique. But one of the most impressive things about the hotel is their stunning pool. In 1947, the pool was named the most beautiful in America and if you stay at this hotel you will see why. The pool’s shape is very distinct and resembles either a shield or flower; maybe a combination of both.

The Angler’s

The Angler’s Hotel (a Kimpton Property)only has 45 rooms but it’s a good example of big things coming in small packages. Between it’s cozy nooks, beautiful gardens, Jacuzzi, and rooftop terraces, The Angler’s has all the makings of a very charming and romantic hotel. The hotel’s restaurant is called 660 and guests and locals love the menu. Items include things like chicken tacos, pork chops, and empanadas. 660 also has some of the most delicious cocktails and an amazing wine list. Ocean Drive Magazine has named their Bloody Mary the best in Miami. If you are looking for an intimate hotel experience with great food then this is an ideal hotel for you.

Townhouse Hotel

Not only does The Townhouse Hotel fit this criteria perfectly, it’s also an affordable alternative to super expensive hotels in the same location. The Townhouse offers guests very stylish and sleek accommodations at a good price. There are 69 rooms and 2 suites that are perfect for a weekend trip to the city. The hotel also has direct access to the beach and its close to several nightclubs and Lincoln Road Mall. On nights that you don’t feel like leaving the hotel you can hang out at their happening rooftop lounge. They often have DJ’s and a chill international party scene.

Park Central Miami Beach

The Park Central Miami Beach hotel is perfect if you want to experience an old- Florida style. The Art Deco building that houses the hotel was built in 1937 and pays tribute to the charms of that era. Some of the current decoration includes wicker chairs and black-and-white photos of beach scenes.
The hotel is scheduled to undergo a renovation that will link it with other Art Deco properties, but it will remain open during the transformation. In the meantime, guests can still enjoy the large rooftop deck with views of Miami Beach or take a stroll down Ocean Drive to visit Lummus Park. Excellent shopping and dining at Lincoln Road Mall is also within walking distance.

Blue Moon Hotel

The Blue Moon Hotel is a casual non stuffy boutique hotel in the heart of South Beach. It features 75 rooms that are decorated in serene and fresh style. Though they aren’t very large, they make up for it with luxurious linens and custom furnishings. Like several hotels in Miami Beach, the Blue Moon Hotel has a historic past and its share of celebrity guests. The hotel is part of the Marriot company so you can expect to have exceptional service. One of the main highlights of the hotel is their restaurant called FIX that serves American Classics with a fresh new twist. Their menu includes items like Pork Belly Benedict and Stone Crab Omelets. But you absolutely must try their Rice Krispy-Crusted French Toast.
