Our Hiring Requirements
All Language On instructors are educated native-speakers (or speakers with native-like proficiency) of the language(s) they teach. A bachelor’s degree or higher, strong verbal skills and a cooperative spirit are a must for all applicants. National accreditation standards also require that English instructors who teach in our intensive English programs have at least one year of prior experience teaching ESL/EFL or foreign languages to adults, in addition to a bachelor’s degree or higher in TESOL (a TEFL or TESL certificate with a teaching practicum can substitute for those with bachelor’s degrees in other fields). In addition, all applicants must have authorization to work in the United States at the time they apply to teach. We need motivated linguists to teach throughout the day, but we have an especially strong need for those who can teach from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
